Building a client portal for one of the fastest growing accounting firms in the South East has been a journey filled with both exhilaration and challenges. The project began with an in-depth understanding of the firm’s operations, their unique needs, and the expectations of their diverse clientele. This was followed by a brief but meticulous planning phase where we outlined the necessary features, designed the user interface, and established a robust backend infrastructure.
QuidPro Solutions
During my tenure at QuidPro, I’ve had the unique privilege of crafting one of the most innovative software products of my career. This accomplishment is not just about the product itself, but also the robust infrastructure we’ve been able to establish. The technical infrastructure we built was comprehensive and forward-thinking. It encompassed everything from the initial design phase, where we brainstormed and conceptualized the product, to the development phase, where these ideas were brought to life. We implemented rigorous testing protocols to ensure the product’s reliability and performance, and established a seamless publishing process that allowed us to deliver updates efficiently.
Datarithm
At Datarithm, my role as an IT strategist was more in the realm of Chief Technical Officer (CTO) than CIO. I led a team of developers spanning two continents and seven time zones. I tackled issues like negotiating with investors, remote working and team cohesion while the team was building predictive algorithms and an easy-to-use application that presented a lot of data in an intuitive way.
